How to Add Database Permissions

Prerequisites

Last Updated for InterWorx-CP version 2.1.1

An existing SiteWorx account. An existing Database. An existing Datebase User.

Purpose

The purpose of this is to detail how to add Database Permissions using SiteWorx.

Procedure - Add Database Permissions

  1. Click on the Site Services menu if it is not already expanded.
  2. Click on the ♦    MySQL submenu if it is not already expanded.
  3. Click on the      ◊    Databases item.
  4. You should now be looking at the Website Management controls in the main content area.
  5. Click the Manage Users button next to the Database you wish to edit.
  6. Select the user you wish to add permissions to from the User dropdown.
  7. Check the permissions you wish to apply to this user.
  8. Localhost can remain in the When Connecting from text box, unless you’re connecting from another computer. In that case, enter the hostname or IP address that it will be connecting from.
  9. Click the Add button.
  10. You will see the following message at the top of the screen: » Permissions updated successfully.
