Purpose
When an e-mail message is tagged as Spam, the message is assigned a “spam score”. This score is related to how “sure” the software is that the message is actually spam. The higher the spam score, the more certain the software is that the message is indeed Spam.
The Spam Score Threshold is the MINIMUM spam score that is required before a message is determined by the software to actually be Spam.
Procedure - Set the Spam Score Threshold
- Click on the menu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the submenu if it is not already expanded.

- Locate the Spam Score Threshold section
- Using the radio buttons under that section, choose one of the options for the Spam Score Threshold, or choose the “Custom” setting, and type your own choice for a Spam Score Threshold into the provided text box.
