How to Rewrite a Spam Message Subject

An existing SiteWorx account.

Purpose

When an e-mail message is tagged as Spam, you can choose to have the e-mail message subject “rewritten” with a text indicating that the message is Spam. This makes it easier for the user to identify Spam messages visually, and to use some e-mail clients to filter Spam messages easily.

Procedure - Set rhe Spam Delivery Setting

  1. Click on the Site Services menu if it is not already expanded.
  2. Click on the ♦    E-Mail submenu if it is not already expanded.
  3. Click on the      ◊    Spam Settings item.
  4. You should now be looking at the E-mail Management : SpamAssassin Configuration controls in the main content area.
  5. Locate the Rewrite Message Subject section
  6. Select the behavior you want to use from the two available radio buttons, and/or change the text to rewrite the message subject with, if you’re choosing that setting.
  7. Click the Submit button directly below those options.
