How To Configure weather SSHd will automatically restart

Purpose

The following procedure explains how to Configure weather SSHd will automatically restart if it goes down.

Procedure - Configure SSHd to restart if it goes down

  1. Click on the System Services menu if it is not already expanded.
  2. Click on the ♦    DNS Server submenu if it is not already expanded.
  3. Click on the      ◊    Overview item.
  4. You should now be looking at the DNS Management controls in the main content area.
  5. Locate the SSH Server Control section.
  6. Locate the Auto-restart SSH: line.
  7. Select No from the dropdown menu next to it.
  8. The page will reload and You will see the following message at the top of the screen: » SSH auto-restart enabled. will appear at the top of the page.

Procedure - Confugure SSHd to NOT restart if it goes down

  1. Click on the System Services menu if it is not already expanded.
  2. Click on the ♦    DNS Server submenu if it is not already expanded.
  3. Click on the      ◊    Overview item.
  4. You should now be looking at the DNS Management controls in the main content area.
  5. Locate the SSH Server Control section.
  6. Locate the Auto-restart SSH: line.
  7. Select No from the dropdown menu next to it.
  8. The page will reload and You will see the following message at the top of the screen: » SSH auto-restart disabled will appear at the top of the page.
