How To Configure weather SSHd will start at boot up
Prerequisites

InterWorx 3.0.1 or later
Purpose
The following procedure explains how to Configure weather SSHd will start at system boot up.
Procedure - Configure SSHd to start at boot up
- Click on the menu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the submenu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the ◊ Overview item.
- You should now be looking at the DNS Management controls in the main content area.
- Locate the SSH Server Control section.
- Locate the Start on boot-up: line.
- Select Yes from the dropdown menu next to it.
- The page will reload and You will see the following message at the top of the screen: » SSH will be started at system boot-up. will appear at the top of the page.
Procedure - Configure SSSd to NOT start at boot up
- Click on the menu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the submenu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the ◊ Overview item.
- You should now be looking at the DNS Management controls in the main content area.
- Locate the SSH Server Control section.
- Locate the Start on boot-up: line.
- Select No from the dropdown menu next to it.
- The page will reload and You will see the following message at the top of the screen: » SSH will NOT be started at system boot-up will appear at the top of the page.
| Be very carefull with this setting! Unless you have console access to the server, you will not be able to log into the server if the SSHd server is not started. |
| Doing this will also set Auto-restart SSH to NO |
