How to Purge Messages From the Local, Remote, and Todo Mail Queues
Prerequisites
Last Updated for InterWorx-CP version 3.0.1
Messages must exist in the queue you wish to purge from.
Purpose
The following procedures will explain how to purge (delete) messages from the local, remote and todo mail queues. If a message is purged, it will not be processed in any way.
Procedure - Purge the Local Mail Queue
- Click on the menu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the submenu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the ◊ Mail Queue item.
- You should now be looking at the Mail Server Management :: Mail Queue controls in the main content area.
- Locate the Quick Stats section.
- Mark the checkbox labeled Local.
- Select Purge from the drop-down list at the bottom of the Quick Stats table.
Procedure - Purge the Remote Mail Queue
- Click on the menu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the submenu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the ◊ Mail Queue item.
- You should now be looking at the Mail Server Management :: Mail Queue controls in the main content area.
- Locate the Quick Stats section.
- Mark the checkbox labeled Remote.
- Select Purge from the drop-down list at the bottom of the Quick Stats table.
Procedure - Purge the Todo Mail Queue
- Click on the menu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the submenu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the ◊ Mail Queue item.
- You should now be looking at the Mail Server Management :: Mail Queue controls in the main content area.
- Locate the Quick Stats section.
- Mark the checkbox labeled Todo.
- Select Purge from the drop-down list at the bottom of the Quick Stats table.
