Purpose

The following procedures explain how to use InterWorx to set a service to start, or not start, when the server boots up.

Procedure - Toggle Service to Start-on-Boot

  1. If the System Services submenu on the left is not already expanded, click on System Services to expand the menu.
  2. Click on the submenu of the service you wish to stop --- for example, &diams MySQL.
  3. Click on the &loz Overview submenu if it exists.
  4. If no &loz Overview submenu item exists, you are most likely already at the proper location.
  5. Locate the Server Control section.
  6. Select Yes or No from the Start on system boot-up dropdown box.
  7. You should a message similar to » MySQL will be started at system boot-up or » MySQL will NOT be started at system boot-up at the top of the screen.
