Enable or Disable a Script From ScriptWorx

Purpose

From the NodeWorx interface, administrators will be able to enable or disable individual scripts within ScriptWorx.

 Enabling or disabling scripts affects the ability to install scripts for all of the accounts on the server.

Procedure - Enable Installation of a Script From ScriptWorx

  1. Click on the SiteWorx menu if it is not already expanded.
  2. Click on the ♦    ScriptWorx submenu if it is not already expanded.
  3. Click on the      ◊    Overview item.
  4. You should now be looking at the ScriptWorx controls in the main content area.
  5. You will see a list of all the scripts available for installation via ScriptWorx, with a checkbox next to each.
  6. Mark the checkboxes for the scripts you wish to allow a user to install. You may also click the [ Check All ] link at the bottom of the list to select all scripts with a single click.
  7. Select Enable from the drop down box at the bottom of the list.
  8. The script(s) you selected will change from Disabled to Enabled.


Procedure - Disable Installation of a Script From ScriptWorx

  1. Click on the SiteWorx menu if it is not already expanded.
  2. Click on the ♦    ScriptWorx submenu if it is not already expanded.
  3. Click on the      ◊    Overview item.
  4. You should now be looking at the ScriptWorx controls in the main content area.
  5. You will see a list of all the scripts available for installation via ScriptWorx, with a checkbox next to each.
  6. Mark the checkboxes for the scripts you wish to prevent a user from installing. You may also click the [ Check All ] link at the bottom of the list to select all scripts with a single click.
  7. Select Disable from the drop down box at the bottom of the list.
  8. The script(s) you selected will change from Enabled to Disabled.
