How to Edit a SiteWorx Account

An existing SiteWorx account.

The purpose of this is to detail how to edit an existing SiteWorx account using NodeWorx.

1. Click on the SiteWorx menu if it is not already expanded.
2. Click on the ♦    Accounts item.
3. You should now be looking at the SiteWorx Account Management controls in the main content area.
4. Click the [ Edit ] link next to the SiteWorx account you wish to edit.
5. Modify the appropriate values. Information about the values appears below.
6. Click the Save button.
7. You will see the following message at the top of the screen: » SiteWorx account edited successfully.

This section pertains to the base information for the SiteWorx account. When editing a SiteWorx account, some things will be unable to change, and changing a value may have unitented consequences.

When editing a SiteWorx account, you will be unable to change the domain name for the account.

Chaning the IP Address of an account will affect how that Site is reached on the Internet. For more information on changing the IP Address of a SiteWorx account, go to: How to Edit the IP Address of a SiteWorx Account.

This is the day that the billing cycle ends. This has the most impact on when bandwidth counters and stats are reset. If you set your billing day to 12, this means that on the 12th of every month, a new billing period/bandwidth monitoring period will start. Editing the billing day can have serious consequences. This is the basic information about the primary user of the SiteWorx account. These fields set up the name, e-mail address, password and language for the SiteWorx account user.

This is the name that will appear in the list of SiteWorx accounts. This field is optional.

The e-mail address of the SiteWorx account holder that is used for the SiteWorx login. This will also be used as a point of contact for the account. Editing this e-mail address will change the e-mail address used to login to that SiteWorx account.

The password for the SiteWorx account holder. It is essential that you choose a relatively secure password. Editing this password will change the password used to login to the SiteWorx account.

Confirm the password entered in the field above.

The default language used in SiteWorx. Currently, SiteWorx and NodeWorx are translated for English, French, and Swedish. Changing this language will change the UI language for the SiteWorx account.

The theme used by the account owner in SiteWorx.
