CRON

CRON is a utility used to schedule various tasks (or scripts) to be run at a set time or interval. When you schedule a task, it’s called creating a cronjob. You can use CRON to schedule custom backup scripts, logwatch, php scripts needed for billing or mailing list software, or many other uses.

InterWorx-CP supports robust CRON functionality.

NodeWorx has access to all of the the cron files on the system, including the root and iworx users. If a system user has created a cronjob, the user will be listed in the interface, and the system administratir will be able to edit its cronjobs.

SiteWorx has access to the CRON for the unique Linux user assigned the account, if CRON access was granted to the SiteWorx account and SiteWorx account user.

InterWorx has two cron interfaces: Simple and Advanced

Simple Interface

New Users will find our Simple Interface very user friendly to use.

Advanced Interface

Advanced Users, or users who know exactly what text they want entered into the raw CRON file will be right at home with the Advanced Interface.
